The joint Health, Safety and Environmental Commitment is recognized as a key component of the occupational health, safety and environmental systems.

As part of our commitment to occupational health, safety and the environment, we will:

• Treat safety in the workplace and care of the environment as our primary responsibility.
• Consider occupational health, safety, and environmental factors, including the prevention of pollution, when making planning, purchasing and operational decisions;
• Foster greater engagement and communication to continuously improve our occupational health, safety and environmental management practices, and performance.
• Maintain accreditation in externally recognized occupational health, safety and environmental management systems and the partnership in injury reduction program;
• Meet or exceed all applicable occupational health, safety and environmental legal requirements.
